Welcome to The Whiting House, an elegant banquet facility situated in Plainville, CT. Our 1930’s art deco style building and three charming banquet rooms is the perfect backdrop for your special event. The Whiting House accommodates functions as large as 200 and as small as 30. At The Whiting House, we pride ourselves on our quality food prepared by the two chef owners and our attention to every detail. We strive to set ourselves apart from other CT banquet facilities by the chef owners personally greeting their guests after every event making sure your expectations have been met or exceeded from the first meeting to the last goodbye!

The Whiting House offers three private banquet rooms, the Rose Room, the Lily Room, and the Tulip Room, that are self contained and include their own set of restrooms, sound/PA systems, and fully stocked bars. The Rose Room, our main ballroom, accommodates approximately 200 guests and features a spacious hardwood dance floor. The Tulip Room upstairs, accommodates approximately 80 guests and is a quiet and private space. For a more intimate setting, we recommend the Lily Room, which seats approximately 40 guests.
